Rebling plastics has been injection molding thermoplastics for over 25 years. Plastic resins are group of synthetic material made up of long chains of molecules called monomers which are linked together to form a long cain molecule called a polymer.
Polymers that are used for injection molding process are called thermoplastic polymers or thermoplastic polymers are used for injection molding process.
There are two type of thermoplastic resin: amorphous and crystalline. Amorphous material have randomly ordered molecular structure while crystalline resins are highly ordered. This is why amorphous material soften gradually as the temperature rises while crystalline material maintain the majority of their properties until their glass transition temperature are reached.
We at Veejay Plastic Injection Molding Company have experience in using varieties of these resins.
Some of the common material used are filled and un-filled ABS, NYLON, POLYCARBONATE, ACETAL, POLYURETHANE, PP, PET, PBT just a name few.
We have over 40 years of experience in using highly engineered material Such as ULTEM, PEEK, PPO, PPS along with Liquid Crystal Polymers: Vectra, PPS, PSU, PAS just a name few.
ULTEM is polyetherimide, a amorphous thermoplastic resin offers elevated thermal resistance, high strength, stiffness, dimensional stability.
PEEK : polyaryletherketone, high temperature performance resin has excellent mechanical strength , dimensional stability high abrasion resistance, low permeability.
PPO: Poly(p-phenylene oxide) is rarely used in its pure form due to difficulties in processing. It is mainly used as a blend with polystyrene. PPO blends are used for structural parts, electronic, household and automotive industries.
PPS: polyphenylene sulphide is excellent in mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, wear resistance, good dimensional stability. PPS has seen increased usage in electrical, electronic, automotive, medical and denral equipments.
These are some of the examples of the resins we used at Veejay Plastic. Please contact us for further application and utility of highly engineered materials.
